Aihui History Museum

The Aihui History Museum is a history and military museum in Heihe with several exhibition halls featuring artifacts, documents, and equipment from different periods of Chinese history. The collections include weapons, tools, and written records that show how people lived and the conflicts they faced.

The museum was created to preserve the region's history during the Qing Dynasty, a time of change along the border with Russia. A major turning point came in 1858 when a treaty was signed that fixed the territorial boundary between the two countries at the Amur River.

The rooms display objects and papers showing how Chinese and Russian communities lived close to each other along the Amur River for many generations. You can see the daily connections and exchanges between these two sides that shaped the local world.
