Kazan Ring, tor wyścigowy (Rosja)
Kazan Ring is a motorsport racing track in Kazan, Russia, with eleven turns and several straight sections. The layout follows a hilly terrain, which creates noticeable elevation changes across the full course.
Construction began in 2006 and the circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, the German engineer behind many Formula 1 tracks around the world. It opened in 2011 and has since hosted national championships and other motorsport events.
The circuit draws motorsport fans from across Russia and serves as a venue for driver training programs open to the public. On race days, the area around the track fills with spectators and car enthusiasts who come to watch from the grandstands.
The circuit is reachable from central Kazan by public transport or by car, and parking is available on site. On event days it is worth arriving early, as access roads can get busy around race start times.
Unlike most racing circuits in the world, Kazan Ring runs counterclockwise. This means drivers must adapt their braking points and cornering lines to a direction they rarely practice on other tracks.
