The museum maintains a collection of over 140,000 artifacts, conducts archaeological expeditions, and presents educational programs about regional history.
Located at 6 Pionerov Street, the museum operates daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with guided tours available in multiple exhibition spaces.
The museum houses the Hunnic Gold exhibition featuring 300 precious metal artifacts from the 5th century CE discovered in the Kursk region.
