Taganrog military museum

The Taganrog Military Museum preserves a collection of vehicles, weapons, uniforms, and historical documents spanning different periods. The exhibits are displayed primarily outdoors and include Soviet and German models from World War II alongside replica versions of infantry rifles.

The museum was founded in May 2004 and began collecting items from various military periods. A major fire in October 2014 destroyed the building and the entire initial collection, but the museum was later rebuilt.

The museum displays vehicles and weapons in open-air settings where visitors walk among the exhibits and connect with the region's military past. The outdoor layout creates a different sense of engagement compared to indoor museum spaces.
