The museum complex spans 400 square meters and contains six thematic halls dedicated to archaeology, ethnography, village history, World War II, post-war period, and vintage technology.
The Paleolithic settlement gained worldwide recognition in 1947 through publications by its discoverer Konstantin Mikhailovich Polikarpovich, revealing ancient mammoth hunter settlements.
Local school students participated in creating exhibitions under the guidance of former history teacher Leonid Ivanovich Grishin, establishing collections of numismatics, philately, and timepieces.
The museum operates year-round with varying seasonal schedules and includes a local history museum, art gallery, and Paleolithic nature reserve for comprehensive educational visits.
The complex features preserved bone dwellings of Cro-Magnon people dating back 15,000 years, protected by a specially constructed pavilion built in 1985.
