The Varvara Morozova Estate is a neoclassical residence with symmetrical forms and clean architectural lines from the 19th century in Moscow. The building displays the balanced proportions and clear structure that define this style of design.

The estate was built in 1888 by architect Roman Klein for Varvara Morozova, who had purchased the land from the Dolgoruky family several years earlier. This building marked the transformation of the site into a modern residence of the late 1800s.

The estate served as a gathering place for Russian intellectuals and artists of the late 1800s who came here to discuss ideas and share their work. The rooms reflect this role as a center of intellectual life in Moscow.
