Al-Shallal Theme Park

Al-Shallal Theme Park is an amusement park in Jeddah with roller coasters, water slides, and a covered building that contains an ice skating rink. The grounds spread across several zones with rides, dining facilities, and rest areas connected by pathways and greenery.

The park opened in late 2004 as part of a corporate group operating several entertainment venues across the region. Over the years, new attractions were added to expand the offering and keep the venue appealing to changing visitor interests.

The name refers to waterfalls and is reflected in the design, where water appears as a central element throughout the grounds. Families from across the region gather here during evenings and weekends, when the site comes alive and visitors move between rides and restaurants.

The grounds open in the late afternoon and remain accessible until after midnight, making visits during cooler evening hours convenient. Weekends and holidays tend to draw larger crowds, while weekdays offer quieter conditions and shorter wait times.

One of the water attractions ends in a large lagoon surrounded by artificial rocks and plantings that form a visual focal point in the central area. In the evening, this zone is lit so that the falling water remains visible from different angles.
