Gothenburg Mosque

The Gothenburg Mosque is a place of worship located on the Hisingen peninsula at the base of Ramberget hill. It features a square minaret, separate prayer rooms for men and women, conference rooms, lecture halls, and dedicated washing areas for religious ablutions.

The mosque opened in 2011 with complete funding from Saudi Arabia. This construction marked the establishment of a major place of worship for the growing Muslim community in the city.
