Spökhotellet Gasten is an indoor walk-through attraction featuring decorated hotel corridors where performers dressed as ghosts interact with visitors throughout the experience. The space combines theatrical design with live acting to create an immersive haunted environment.

This haunted walk-through opened in 1998 as part of a harbor development project located across the Mölndalsån river. It was designed to expand the amusement park's offerings and has evolved through renovations over the decades.

The name plays on the Swedish word gast, which means both a supernatural spirit and a crew member aboard a ship. The hotel's fictional backstory places it in Gothenburg's harbour, and the whole Hamnområdet area around it was themed on the city's history as a port. From 2010 the adjoining restaurant was called Spökbaren Gasten, and ghosts from the hotel were said to visit it regularly.

The walk-through is on foot through the rooms of a former 1911 yarn factory, Jakobsdal, beside the Mölndalsån in Liseberg's harbour area. The house closed before the 2025 summer season for cost reasons, so check whether it is operating before planning a visit.

The building housing the attraction is the former Jakobsdal yarn factory, constructed in 1911 and bought by Liseberg in 1988. Plans from 1995 for a "Nöjesfabriken" entertainment factory, including a funhouse named Hotell Vegas HårResande Rum, were abandoned and reworked into the ghost house. The spider decor added in 2017 was removed by 2021, and parts were later reused at Grand Curiosa for Halloween.
