Spökhotellet Gasten

Spökhotellet Gasten is an indoor walk-through attraction featuring decorated hotel corridors where performers dressed as ghosts interact with visitors throughout the experience. The space combines theatrical design with live acting to create an immersive haunted environment.

This haunted walk-through opened in 1998 as part of a harbor development project located across the Mölndalsån river. It was designed to expand the amusement park's offerings and has evolved through renovations over the decades.

The name Gasten carries dual meaning in Swedish, referencing both supernatural folklore and maritime traditions connected to the harbor's seafaring past.

Access is permitted for visitors aged nine and above, and the attraction requires multiple ride tickets to enter. Plan your visit during evening hours when the experience tends to be more engaging with active performers throughout the space.

In 2017 the attraction received a spider-themed renovation where oversized arachnids invaded the hotel corridors with new frightening elements. This overhaul shows how the space continuously reinvents itself to keep returning visits fresh and unpredictable.
