Slemenova špica, Mountain summit and scenic viewpoint in Julian Alps, Slovenia

Slemenova špica, also called Sleme, is a 1,911-metre summit in the Julian Alps. Its top rises above the Sleme plateau beneath the north wall of Mala Mojstrovka, and its slopes drop steeply toward Tamar and Mala Pišnica.

The mountain became known as a filming location for the 1951 Slovenian film Kekec. This association with cinema established its role in national film history.

Access is from Tamar (2 hours 30 minutes) or from Vršič (1 hour 30 minutes). The summit rises above the Sleme plateau beneath the north wall of Mala Mojstrovka, and steep slopes drop toward Tamar and Mala Pišnica. Paths are marked along the whole route.

The small lakes on the Sleme plateau, known as modra očesca ("blue eyes"), are a feature the area is known for, not pastures. In the shade of old larch trees there, scenes from the 1951 film Kekec were shot.
