Planina Prevala, Mountain pasture at Begunjščica, Slovenia.

Planina Prevala is a mountain pasture at 1311 metres on the Preval saddle above the Šentanska dolina valley, reachable by a forest road from the valley. A mountain hut stands on the pasture, built in 1952 on the site of an earlier hut that was burned during the Second World War. The pasture was once a planšarija where milk was processed.

Planina Prevala was first owned by the lords of Kamen Castle; farmers from Vrbenj and Zgoše later bought the land and turned it into a dairy pasture where milk was processed. A mountain hut stood on the site before the Second World War, when it was burned down; the present hut was built in 1952.

The pasture was bought from the lords of Kamen Castle by farmers from Vrbenj and Zgoše, who turned it into a planšarija where milk processing became the main activity. Cheese and dairy products made from the herd's milk are still what the pasture is known for.

Access is by forest road from the Šentanska dolina, or on foot from Ljubelj along the Born Trail in about 90 minutes, or from the Draga valley. From the pasture, one path leads directly to the summit of Begunjščica, another via the Roblekov dom.
