Magurica, Mountain summit in Laborec Highlands, Slovakia.
Located above the town of Snina, Magurica reaches an elevation of 477.2 meters with dense forest coverage throughout its slopes.
The summit gained technological importance in 1988 with the construction of a 98-meter steel structure for broadcasting television and radio signals.
The mountain serves northeastern Slovakia as a central communication point, transmitting regional programs through multiple FM stations including Radio Slovensko.
Visitors can reach the summit through marked forest paths connecting the towns of Snina and Stakčín in the Prešov Region.
The mountain hosts several DVB-T transmitters operating on different multiplex channels, ensuring television coverage across the surrounding communities.
