Al-Sabil Park spans 6 hectares with rectangular layouts, green spaces, walking paths, and centrally located dancing water fountains in the heart of Aleppo.
The Ottoman administration of Aleppo established this park in 1895 under wāli Raif Pasha, marking a new era of urban development for the city.
The park takes its name from the Sabil ad-darawish, a water fountain that provided drinking water to local residents before the park's creation.
The park welcomes visitors daily from 6 AM to midnight, offering amenities such as playgrounds, restaurants, and shaded areas for outdoor activities.
A distinctive water fountain shaped like a traditional jug stands in the western corner of the park, representing local architectural design elements.
