Seka is a district in Bueng Kan in northeastern Thailand that serves as a local administrative center. The area includes several sub-districts with rural communities and agricultural lands.
The district was established in 1958 when five sub-districts separated from Bueng Kan. A year later it received its status as a full administrative district.
Each of the nine sub-districts in Seka maintains its own administrative traditions through local municipalities and organizations that manage community affairs.
