Jebel Serj National Park

Jebel Serj National Park is a protected area located between Siliana and Kairouan in central Tunisia with varied landscape and natural features. The terrain includes limestone mountains, dense forests, and rocky cliffs that define the park's character throughout its boundaries.

The park was established in 2010 as a protected area to safeguard native wildlife and natural habitats in the region. This designation marked an important step in Tunisia's broader efforts to preserve endangered ecosystems and species.

The northern slope of the mountain functions as a vital water collection area, supplying the Lakhmess dam through a natural network of water channels. This hydrological role proves essential for agriculture and water supply in the surrounding communities.
