Lake Tuz

Lake Tuz spans 1,665 square kilometers across three provinces, making it the second largest lake in Turkey with an average elevation of 905 meters.

The presence of specific algae in the lake creates pink-colored waters, attracting large colonies of flamingos that use the shallow waters for breeding.
