The Hagia Triada Church features a central dome and two spires, incorporating elements of neo-baroque architecture within its Byzantine Revival design.
Completed in 1880, this church marked a milestone as the first domed Christian structure authorized for construction in Istanbul after the 1453 Fall of Constantinople.
The interior displays religious artworks by painter Sakellarios Megaklis and marble designs by sculptor Alexandros Krikelis, representing Orthodox Christian traditions.
Located near Taksim Square on Meşelik Street, the church welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with services for its 150 regular parishioners.
The church underwent extensive reconstruction following the events of 1955, with businessman Panagiotis Angelopoulos funding renovations worth $90,000.
