Konyaaltı Beach

Konyaaltı Beach is a 7-kilometer stretch of Mediterranean coastline in Antalya with gray pebbles and sand covering its shore. The Taurus Mountains rise behind the beach, forming a natural boundary that frames the entire landscape.

The name Konyaaltı originates from Ottoman times when travelers from Konya reached this coast and described it as lying below their city. The name has persisted through centuries and remains connected to that historical perspective.
