Antalya Aquarium

Antalya Aquarium is a public facility with 40 themed tanks displaying marine and freshwater animals. The building features tunnel sections where visitors can walk while fish and other sea creatures swim around them in large tanks overhead and on all sides.

The facility preserves an Italian Savoia-Marchetti SM79 bomber from 1935 that was sunk during World War II. This aircraft wreck has been incorporated into the marine exhibition, bridging military history with the living collection on display today.

Daily feeding demonstrations for stingrays, Koi fish, and sharks offer visitors chances to watch these animals in action. These scheduled sessions help people understand how different species behave and interact with their environment.

The complex has several zones to explore one after another, including a snow area beside the aquarium tanks. It is best to wear flat shoes and allow time for each area, as a visit quickly becomes a half-day outing.

The building features a 131-meter tunnel where visitors are surrounded by swimming animals from all sides. This tunnel is one of the longest of its kind and creates an unforgettable perspective on ocean life.
