Erhlin Township

Located at an elevation of 12 meters above sea level, Erlin Township stretches across 93 square kilometers in the western region of Changhua County.

The area was formerly part of the Dutch administrative region Favorlang, serving as a trading point called Gierim between Chinese merchants and local indigenous people.

The township contains twenty-seven distinct villages, including Fengtian, Donghe, and Nanguang, each maintaining their local traditions and community practices throughout the year.

The Erlin Bus Station, operated by Yuanlin Bus company, connects residents to neighboring townships and provides regular transportation services across Changhua County.

With 48,144 residents distributed across 15,765 households, Erlin Township holds the position of largest township within the boundaries of Changhua County.
