Buyan Shunze Temple

The temple features traditional Taiwanese architectural elements with large incense burners, carved wooden beams, and prominent deity sculptures throughout the complex.

Established by the Chen family between 1722 and 1735, the temple underwent substantial renovations until its most recent completion in 1998.

Xuantian Shangdi stands as the main deity of worship in this temple, where residents gather for religious ceremonies and community celebrations.

Located at 55 Zhongzheng Road in Puyan Village, the temple maintains an active presence on Facebook for updates about events and ceremonies.

In 2019, Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen recognized the temple's significance through an official visit to this religious landmark.
