Tian Song Pi, Agricultural leisure area in Yilan County, Taiwan
Tian Song Pi is an agricultural leisure area in Yilan County, Taiwan, with open fields, walking paths through planted sections, and forested trails that run along the En Nong River. The site also has indoor exhibition spaces dedicated to the farming heritage of the surrounding area.
The area was originally a hub for timber transport before economic activity shifted toward farming. The former train station, which once served the logging industry, was later converted into a visitor center, marking that transition.
The exhibition spaces here display farming tools and cultivation methods passed down through generations in this part of Yilan. Walking through the surrounding fields, visitors can see these same practices still in use today.
The site is easy to explore on foot, with clear paths connecting the fields, riverside trails, and the exhibition spaces. Spring and summer offer the most variety outdoors, though the area is open year-round.
On warm evenings from April to June, the fields and riverbanks fill with fireflies, a sight that few visitors expect to find here. In summer, the orchards around the site also open for visitors to pick pears straight from the trees.
