經國大橋, Road bridge in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.
Jinguo Bridge is a road crossing over the Touqian River measuring about 2,300 meters (7,500 feet), linking Zhubei City to the north with the eastern side of Hsinchu City to the south. The structure includes access ramps that connect directly to the East-West Expressway system.
The bridge opened in 2002 and was named after former President Chiang Ching-kuo to honor his influence on the region. It was built to address growing transportation needs and improve connections between the two districts.
The bridge connects two administrative areas and serves daily commuters who depend on this crossing for work and local travel. The passage has become a regular part of how residents move between Zhubei and Hsinchu's eastern side.
The bridge is best accessed from Zhubei's main routes or directly from the East-West Expressway, with clear signage marking the way. The structure is regularly maintained and remains accessible in all normal weather conditions.
The bridge is jointly managed by Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County governments, demonstrating an unusual partnership between two separate administrative areas. This shared responsibility model helps both sides maintain the crossing effectively.
