Xinhai Constructed Wetland

Xinhai Constructed Wetland is a restored green space along a river section that filters water using various plant species for environmental recovery. The site features multiple walking paths and viewing stations that allow visitors to observe the natural processes from different vantage points.

The project began in 2009 when a local initiative transformed dumped areas along the waterway into a functioning ecological space. This conversion set a new standard for river restoration in the region and demonstrated how land could be reclaimed for environmental benefit.
