Dizang Temple, Xinzhuang

Dizang Temple is a Chinese temple in Xinzhuang District featuring multiple buildings arranged around courtyards with carved statues and ornate stone pillars throughout. Two days before May 1st, the temple holds the Anfang ceremony where participants perform rituals to drive away negative spirits, receiving special blessing cakes and safety amulets in return. This annual event brings together believers who follow this centuries-old spiritual practice.
