Tainan Municipal Cultural Center Hsin-Ying District

The Tainan Municipal Cultural Center is a performance venue in the Xinying District featuring a hall with approximately 850 seats, a proscenium-arch stage, and full stage equipment. The space accommodates diverse productions from theater to concerts and is designed to bring performers and audiences together comfortably.

The center was established in 1983 and quickly became a cultural hub for the region. A major renovation in 2016 updated its equipment and expanded services to meet contemporary needs.

This venue serves as a gathering place for local artists and community groups, regularly hosting exhibitions of crafts and contemporary art. People come together here for concerts, theatrical performances, and workshops that shape the cultural rhythm of the district.

The venue operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 to 20:30, and Sunday, 9:00 to 17:00, with Monday closures. Parking is available on-site and the facility is accessible for people with mobility needs.

A kilometer-long green waterway runs alongside Luchuan North Street adjacent to the center, featuring local artwork and planted areas. This green corridor creates a pleasant place to walk before or after visiting the venue.
