Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou is a large shopping complex in Linkou with over 200 brand stores spread across indoor and outdoor sections. The layout makes it easy for visitors to move between the two areas and browse different types of shops.
Construction began in 2014 under the Mitsui Fudosan real estate group and the complex opened in 2016. The opening came as transportation connections to the area were being expanded and improved.
The mall incorporates Japanese architectural elements and features ten Japanese restaurants among its dining options, reflecting strong cultural connections between Taiwan and Japan.
Access is easiest via Linkou Station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT Line. There are also free shuttle services available from various transportation hubs to reach the complex.
The complex includes a cinema with nine screens that uses modern projection technology and offers specialized screening rooms with different viewing concepts. This cinema adds an entertainment dimension beyond shopping.
