Formosa Plastics Group Museum, Industrial museum at Chang Gung University, Guishan, Taiwan
The Formosa Plastics Group Museum spans six floors and a basement, covering 8,000 square meters of exhibition space dedicated to industrial development.
The museum, established in 2004, chronicles the foundation of Formosa Plastics Group by Wang Yung-ching and Wang Yung-tsai during Taiwan's industrial transformation period.
The exhibition halls present the evolution of Taiwan's manufacturing sector through artifacts, including traditional ox-carts and textile machines from early production days.
Visitors can reach the museum by taking public transportation to the National Taiwan Sport University station and following directional signs to the Chang Gung campus.
The museum features a fifty-thousand-year-old piece of petrified wood in its central lobby and maintains a simulated New Zealand Kauri Wood forest in its basement.
