坪林森林公園

Located on 11.7 hectares of land, Pinglin Forest Park contains both a natural forest area and an ecological retention pond spanning 32,000 cubic meters.

The park was transformed from a former military base of the National Armed Forces into a public recreational space after military personnel reductions.

The multi-purpose performance hall within the park hosts regular art exhibitions and community gatherings, connecting local residents through cultural activities.

The park features accessible restrooms, children's play areas, parking facilities, and can be reached by taking bus number 75 from Taichung Station.

The sunken ecological park design incorporates both flood prevention capabilities and recreational spaces, making it the first dual-purpose park in Taiping.
