Description
Pinglin Forest Park is an urban forest spread across about 12 hectares with both natural woodlands and a large ecological retention pond for water management. The space includes play areas for children, restroom facilities, and parking areas for visitors.
History
The site was transformed from a former military base into a public recreational area following reductions in military personnel stationed there. This conversion shows how the city repurposed military land for civilian use.

The multi-purpose performance hall hosts regular exhibitions and gatherings that bring neighbors together for art and community events throughout the year.
