Guanyin Beach

Guanyin Beach is a sandy shoreline on Taiwan's northern coast with wide open shores and recreational facilities. The waterfront features large wind turbines that are part of the coastal energy infrastructure and shape the visual landscape.

The beach was once a popular swimming destination in northern Taiwan but underwent major renovations due to water quality issues. This transformation turned it into a modern recreational area with improved conditions for visitors.

Local families use this shoreline on weekends to observe sea life and spend time together by the water. The beach serves as a gathering place where people connect with nature and with each other throughout the year.

Visitors can reach the beach by taking the train to Zhongli Station and then transferring to Taoyuan Bus Route 5042. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the shoreline.

The area has a network of walking paths and cycling routes that connect different sections of the coast. These pathways feature viewing points overlooking the water and make it easy to explore the entire coastal zone.
