The Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center spans 3,000 square meters across two floors, featuring five square boxes arranged to resemble traditional Chinese seals.
The construction of this specialized art institution began in September 2017, and the center initiated its operations on October 22, 2021.
This establishment stands as Taiwan's first official art museum focusing entirely on calligraphy, offering demonstrations and exhibitions by local and international artists.
The center welcomes visitors from Wednesday through Monday between 09:30 and 17:00, with guided tours in Mandarin occurring daily at 11:00 and 15:00.
The building incorporates an inkstone-inspired pavilion area and a pond representing an inkwell, integrating calligraphy elements into its architectural design.
