Oleksandrivka

Oleksandrivka extends along the left bank of the Southern Bug river, approximately 5 kilometers north of Voznesensk, covering 0.5 square kilometers of territory.

The settlement emerged in 1774 and maintained its status as a rural community until 1968 when it received the designation of urban-type settlement.

The population of 5,095 residents combines agricultural traditions with industrial employment, particularly in connection with the local hydroelectric infrastructure.

The settlement contains a hydroelectric power station that supplies water to the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant while connecting to neighboring areas through roads P-06 and P-75.

The territory includes granite quarries and the Oleksandrivskyi ichthyological reserve within its reservoir, contributing to the regional ecological landscape.
