Stoj

Stoj is a mountain summit in the western Carpathians located in southwestern Ukraine's mountain region. The peak sits within a forested landscape with varied terrain that ranges from lower slopes to higher elevations.

The mountain sits in a region that became part of modern Ukraine following changes in territorial control during the 1940s. This transition shaped how the area is structured and administered today.

The summit can be reached by hiking trails that start from nearby villages and pass through different landscape zones. Visitors should prepare for changing weather conditions and bring appropriate gear, as conditions at higher elevations can be more challenging.

The mountain forms a point where different ecological zones meet and various plant species grow alongside one another. This natural mixing of ecosystems creates unusual plant diversity that hikers encounter along the slopes.
