Pecherskyi Landscape Park, Urban landscape park in Pechersk district, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Pecherskyi Landscape Park is a large green area with natural slopes in the Pechersk district, stretching across hilly terrain beside the Dnieper River. The grounds feature multiple pathways that wind through different elevations while preserving natural vegetation throughout.
The park was established in 1981 during Kyiv's urban renewal period and made use of the natural hillside terrain of the district. Since then it has remained a permanent green space that preserved the area's original topography.
The park serves as a meeting place where neighbors walk, exercise, and spend time together among the trees and open spaces. You will see families, joggers, and older people enjoying the green slopes throughout the day.
The park is accessible from various points around its perimeter with well-defined walking paths suitable for visitors of all fitness levels. Visits are most comfortable during warmer months, though paths can become slippery after rain.
The grounds use the steep hillsides of the district to create natural viewing points where you can see the river and city below. These elevations were part of the original landscape and were not artificially altered.
