The Bernardine Church features a 38-meter bell tower, thick defensive walls, and Renaissance architectural elements on its decorated stone facade.
Starting in 1460, the Bernardine monks constructed a wooden temple outside Lviv's walls, which later evolved into a stone monastery completed in 1630.
The church interior contains altars and wall paintings from the 18th century, displaying the religious artistry of different historical periods.
Visitors can explore this religious monument from Tuesday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with extended weekend hours until 6:00 PM.
The monastery clock runs five minutes ahead, marking a historical moment when a monk modified time settings to alert the city during a siege.
