Korniakt Tower, Renaissance tower in Market Square, Lviv, Ukraine.
The stone tower rises to 66 meters with three tiers, featuring Renaissance architectural elements and a decorative pyramid-shaped roof.
Construction of the tower began in 1578 under the patronage of Greek merchant Konstanty Korniakt, who gained favor with Polish King Sigismund II Augustus.
The tower stands next to the Dormition Church, forming part of an architectural complex that represents the influence of Greek merchants in Renaissance Lviv.
Visitors can climb the tower during regular opening hours to reach observation platforms that provide views across the medieval streets of Lviv.
The building incorporates defensive features within its design, including thick walls and strategic window placements that served during historical sieges.
