The National Museum of Lviv houses thousands of artifacts documenting Ukrainian art, culture, and regional heritage across multiple exhibition halls and galleries.
Metropolitan Archbishop Andrey Sheptytsky established this museum in 1905 as the Lwow Ecclesiastical Museum to preserve Ukrainian cultural treasures and historical artifacts.

Located at 20 Svobody Avenue, the museum welcomes visitors Thursday through Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM with admission fees between 2 and 10 UAH.
The museum maintains an extensive collection of medieval sacred art dating from the 12th to 18th centuries, including rare icons and ecclesiastical manuscripts.
