Nyzhnia Krynka

Nyzhnia Krynka is a settlement in the Donetsk Oblast region of eastern Ukraine. The community includes residential neighborhoods and local administrative facilities that serve the population living there.

The settlement was founded in 1778 as part of the Mius District. It later developed into an organized community during the region's industrial growth period.

The population demonstrates linguistic diversity with Ukrainian speakers at 33.29 percent and Russian speakers at 65.96 percent, reflecting the regional heritage.

The settlement sits in a flat area and is accessible via local roads connecting to nearby regions. Getting around is straightforward since administrative buildings and main areas are centrally located.

The settlement underwent administrative changes in 2020, transferring from Makiivka City Council jurisdiction to become part of the Makiivka Hromada system.
