Serdyte

Serdyte is a settlement in Shakhtarsk Hromada located in southeastern Ukraine within Donetsk Oblast. This small community provides basic services and housing for residents in its surrounding area.

Founded in 1904, Serdyte emerged as part of the Soviet administrative framework that organized smaller settlements into distinct settlement types. The community developed within the broader industrial and demographic shifts affecting southeastern Ukraine over the following decades.

The language distribution in Serdyte reflects its regional identity, with 86.91 percent of residents speaking Russian and 12.41 percent speaking Ukrainian.
