Mius-front

Mius-front is a war memorial in Khrustalnyi featuring a T-34/85 tank at its entrance and a long stairway leading to a central concrete monument. The site includes multiple information panels that explain the military operations and events that occurred in this region.

Enemy forces built a defensive line along the Mius River in 1941 that became the scene of intense fighting until Soviet troops breached it in 1943. This position proved to be one of the most heavily contested areas of the campaign.

The memorial displays names and honors soldiers who lost their lives during the fighting in this region. These inscriptions create a space where visitors can acknowledge the human cost of the battles that took place here.

The memorial site is located at a fixed position and features orientation panels to help visitors understand the different areas. The entrance with the tank is easily accessible on foot, and pathways guide you through the entire grounds.
