Solomianka Landscape Park

Solomianka Landscape Park is an urban green space in Kyiv with forest sections, meadows, and paved pathways that spread across several hectares. The terrain features varied elevation changes and contains several lakes that form defining features of the landscape.

The park was created in 1986 as part of Kyiv's expansion of public green spaces during the Soviet period. This development was part of a broader effort to make more natural space available in the growing city.

The lakes in the area support a turtle population that can be seen basking on stones during warmer months. These animals serve as an indicator of local ecosystem health and draw nature watchers throughout the year.
