Construction of the temple began in the early 2000s at a location that previously contained a city cemetery according to maps from 1915.
The temple operates a Sunday school where children and adults study religious texts, practice church singing, and learn traditional egg painting techniques.
Regular services take place on Fridays at 14:00, Saturdays at 7:00 and 14:00, and Sundays at 7:00, with free religious ceremonies for the community.
The temple stands on ground where construction workers discovered bricks from the Ekaterynoslavsky factory, dating back to 1876.
