The Kaidatsky Bridge extends 1,732 meters across the Dnieper River with three traffic lanes in each direction and a total width of 26 meters.
The Ministry of Transport Construction of the USSR commenced building the bridge in 1975, completing the structure for its official opening on November 10, 1982.
The bridge name originates from Novi Kodaky, a former Zaporizhian Cossack settlement that marked this river crossing location since the 17th century.
This bridge forms part of European route E50, connecting the Novokodatskyi District on the right bank to the Amur-Nyzhnodniprovskyi District on the left bank.
The bridge spans over Namystanka Island, which contains the Sukhachivka arboretum, managed by the Dnipro State Forestry.
