Всехсвятский скит, Orthodox monastery in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
Vseksvyatsky Skit stands as a wooden monastery complex built in traditional 16th-17th century Russian architectural style, featuring seventeen onion domes covered with aspen shingles and surrounded by a protective wooden palisade with towers and gates.
The monastery was originally established in 1912 with a stone church, but after being destroyed by Soviet authorities in 1947, it was rebuilt starting in 2000 as part of the restoration of religious life following Ukraine's independence in 1992.
The skit represents an important example of ancient Russian wooden church architecture, featuring hand-carved pine log construction, traditional iconostasis with 16th-17th century styling, and icons dedicated to local saints and All Saints who shone in Russia.
The monastery operates as a working religious community with about 15 brothers, maintains agricultural facilities including farms, gardens, apiaries, and fishponds, and offers guided tours for pilgrimage groups with services held in early morning and evening hours.
The wooden church construction was partially funded by a donation from Nigerian citizen Ezuma Innocent Ozogemena, demonstrating the international significance and appeal of this Orthodox monastery despite its remote location in eastern Ukraine.
