Blue Streak

The Blue Streak is a wooden roller coaster at Conneaut Lake Park featuring a traditional out-and-back layout with multiple drops and turns. The ride structure reaches about 78 feet high and takes passengers through a course of hills that create weightless sensations.

The ride was built in 1938 and ranked among the oldest wooden coasters in the United States. It remained in operation for decades as a centerpiece of the park's attractions.

The coaster earned recognition from roller coaster enthusiasts and preservation groups for its historical importance. It became beloved by multiple generations who returned to ride it throughout their lives.

Riders experience speeds around 40 miles per hour while traveling through drops and hills. The ride is relatively short but delivers strong sensations of weightlessness throughout the course.

After renovation, the ride used authentic trains from its original 1938 construction by a noted coaster designer. These original components make it stand out among similar attractions from that era.
