Gastonia

Gastonia is a city in the Piedmont region of North Carolina and the seat of Gaston County. The area covers gently rolling terrain at roughly 800 feet (240 meters) above sea level.

The Loray Mill Strike in 1929 drew national attention and became a key moment in the history of labor rights in the United States. Events here brought working conditions in textile manufacturing into public awareness.
