Kentucky Rumbler

The Kentucky Rumbler is a wooden roller coaster in Beech Bend Park located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with a track that stretches nearly 2,800 feet long and climbs to about 96 feet high. The ride features several drops and curves that take passengers along a winding path at speeds reaching 47 miles per hour.

The coaster opened in 2006 after the local community participated in a naming contest where winners received season pass prizes. The addition marked a significant expansion of the park's entertainment offerings at that time.

This wooden roller coaster maintains traditional design elements from early 20th-century attractions while incorporating modern engineering techniques for enhanced safety standards.

The train accommodates 24 passengers per ride in a two-across seating arrangement. Visitors should prepare for longer wait times on busy days and wear comfortable shoes for walking through the park.

In 2023, the ride received an upgrade using Titan Track technology that requires no welding and improves ride smoothness. This modernization demonstrates how park operators can enhance existing attractions with cutting-edge materials.
