Rose Hill, Residential neighborhood in Manhattan, US

Rose Hill extends from 23rd Street to 32nd Street between Madison Avenue and Third Avenue in Manhattan, featuring a mix of residential buildings and commercial spaces. The neighborhood has a varied streetscape with buildings of different heights and active foot traffic throughout the day.

The neighborhood takes its name from 18th-century Rose Hill Farm, a large estate with buildings and orchards that John Watts purchased from Robert Watts. This historical property shaped the area before it became the residential neighborhood it is today.

The stretch of Lexington Avenue between 25th and 30th Streets fills with Indian restaurants and specialty shops that give the area its Curry Hill nickname. Walking through, you notice the aroma of spices and colorful storefronts that define the neighborhood's character today.

Multiple subway lines and bus routes connect the neighborhood to other parts of Manhattan, with stations distributed throughout the area for easy access. You can find public transit within a short walk from wherever you are in the district.

The CURE.Innovation Campus operates here, focused on life sciences technology development and research work in New York City. This research hub remains less visible than other Manhattan destinations but draws professionals from the scientific field.
