St. Paul's Chapel, Georgian chapel at Broadway and Fulton Street, United States

St. Paul's Chapel stands with a stone exterior, high spire, and classical portico at the intersection of Broadway and Fulton Street in Lower Manhattan.

The 1766 construction survives as Manhattan's oldest public building, offering services during George Washington's presidency and surviving the Great Fire of 1776.

The chapel contains a monument to Richard Montgomery, the Glory Altarpiece by Pierre L'Enfant, and cut glass chandeliers reflecting domestic Georgian design.

The chapel opens daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, offering free admission, regular religious services, concerts, and guided tours through the building.

During the September 11 recovery period, the chapel provided rest and support to thousands of rescue workers without sustaining structural damage.
