195 Broadway, Neoclassical office building at 195 Broadway in Financial District, Manhattan, US.
The 29-story marble structure rises 129 meters into the Manhattan skyline, featuring gray granite columns in Doric and Ionic architectural styles throughout the facade.
Constructed between 1912 and 1922, the building served as AT&T headquarters until 1983 and hosted the first transcontinental telephone call in the United States.
The marble lobby contains ornate chandeliers, polished bronze finishes, and massive stone columns that reflect classical Greek architectural influences.
The building provides one million square feet of office space with floor plates ranging from 6,000 to 42,000 square feet and 30 elevators for vertical transportation.
This structure contains the largest quantity of marble among all office buildings in New York City, used extensively in both exterior and interior construction.
